Lionel Messi, accompanied by his wife Antonela Roccuzzo and their eldest son Thiago, was recently seen house hunting in Boca Raton, Florida after his historic move to Inter Miami. The Argentina star’s move to the United States was confirmed earlier this month and he has since made a stunning debut as well as scoring two goals and an assist on his second appearance for the team. During their visit, Messi and Antonela were seen touring a luxurious house in Boca Raton, which is located an hour north of Miami but just 25 minutes from DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale. The family seemed happy and excited during the tour.
Taking a leisurely stroll, the individual in their mid-thirties took the time to explore the premises of the real estate. The location is situated approximately an hour’s drive towards the north of Miami.
Messi was accompanied by his spouse, Antonela Roccuzzo, along with their firstborn child named Thiago.
The family is currently on the lookout to expand their property portfolio in Florida and was recently given a tour of a potential new house. During the tour, Messi was even shown a golf putting green while someone demonstrated their skills with a club in hand. Messi and his wife Antonela have three children together: Thiago (10), Mateo (7), and Ciro (5). This wouldn’t be their first property in South Florida as they already own a lavish $9 million apartment that overlooks Sunny Isle Beach and Miami city. Reports state that Messi purchased the apartment situated in the Porsche Design Tower in 2019. The tower has 60 floors and is located between Bal Harbour and Aventura, just 25 minutes away from Inter Miami’s DRV PNK Stadium.

Messi was treated to a demonstration of the golf putting green at a luxurious house located near Miami. The house is equipped with top-notch facilities, including a private restaurant, an outdoor lounge that overlooks the sea, a cinema, and simulators for golf and racing. Following his two-and-a-half-year contract with Inter Miami, Messi is expected to earn an annual salary of $50-60 million. Former Barcelona teammates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba have already joined Messi in South Beach. Meanwhile, Luis Suarez has disclosed that he and Messi still hold onto the dream of retiring together, despite talks between his current club, Gremio, and Inter Miami collapsing.
During the trip, Thiago sported his Inter Miami jersey which had his father’s name and number on it.
It is reported that Messi will be making around $50-60 million per year with his new two-and-a-half year contract.
In high spirits, he was enjoying a house-hunting trip with his wife and son. The MLS club had initially aimed to reunite Sυarez with Messi and the team, but negotiations for a deal have since collapsed. In an interview with Uruguayan TV show Punto Penal, Sυarez shared that he and Messi had always hoped to retire together and talked about it when they were at Barcelona. However, after Sυarez went to Atletico and Messi went to PSG, their plans fell through. While Messi has now decided to go to the United States, Sυarez remains optimistic that they may still have the chance to play together again in the future.
