Meet adoptable deaf almost two year old female bully mix Petey who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, teach her new sign cues and always keep her safe.

From her caregiver: Petey is almost two year old, female pit mix. She weighs 65 lbs. She is spayed and current on all vaccinations. She is white with black spots and a black spot over one eye.

She is a very sweet loving girl. She does well with other dogs. She has never been around cats so we aren’t sure of her demeanor around them. She is kennel trained, Leash trained, and potty trained. She loves her toys and going on walks. She is a very playful girl and loves people. Petey showed up at our place of business in June of 2023 along with her sister. Unfortunately her sister was hit by a car before we could catch them both. We decided to make Petey a “shop” dog. We were unaware she was deaf for about a week. Some of us here have worked with her some on hand signals, but due to the fact that she is up here in a work environment, not a lot of time is available to work with her.

We are wanting to find her a loving home with a family that can give her the love and attention she deserves. She is good with children as well. She loves to bark at her self in the mirror also. When we take her on walks she likes to carry her toy or help hold her leash. She’s a beautiful girl that deserves all the love of a good family.
