In the darkest and deepest corners of TikTok, fans have found a footballer who appears to be Messi’s clone. Videos of the man playing matches on concrete pitches have gone viral on the social media platform due to his uncanny physical resemblance to Messi and his style of play.
Wearing a Paris Saint-Germain shirt with the number 30 and the name “Messi,” the videos show the man weaving between opponents, tricking defenders with incredibly close dribbles and ball control and with unexpected bursts of acceleration.
They say everyone has at least one double, but this man appears to be Messi’s long-lost twin. The only difference between them seems to be their ability in front of goal; Let’s say that the real Messi is much more composed when facing the goalkeeper.

“I just saw a guy on TikTok who plays exactly like Messi, it’s so scary. Everything is a copy of him,” a fan posted on X (formerly Twitter). Responses included things like “That could be his twin,” and “it must be his son or something.”

I feel honored and at the same time it’s a little surreal. I don’t know if he’s my lost double, but his ability is impressive.”
