Cristiano Ronaldo scored a beautiful goal from a classic free kick to help Al Nassr win 4-1 against Al Feiha at King Abdullah Sports Stadium (Buraidah, Saudi Arabia) in the early morning of August 28.
The new season has just begun and CR7 only needs 2 matches to prove his sharp scoring ability in the Al Nassr club shirt.
Just before half-time, the Portuguese superstar doubled Al Nassr’s lead with a stunning goal from a set piece to make it 2-0. With this trademark free-kick, Ronaldo is just one goal away from reaching the milestone of 900 career goals.

CR7’s goal boosted the morale of Al Nassr players. Marcelo Brozovic then increased the score to 3-0 in the 85th minute before Al Feiha players equalized. In the 90+5 minute, Talisca completed his double to seal a 4-1 victory for Al Nassr.
With this result, Al Nassr has got the first victory of the new season and CR7 and his team are starting to enter the race for the title. CR7 is also on track to win the Saudi Pro League Golden Boot for the second consecutive season.
Last season, Ronaldo made history in Saudi Arabia when he scored 35 goals, breaking the record of 34 goals in a Saudi Pro League season set by Abderrazak Hamdallah in 2019.
With his stunning strike against Al Feiha, Cristiano Ronaldo has now scored 64 goals from set-pieces in his illustrious career. This is second only to Lionel Messi, who has 65 goals from set-pieces.
In the next match, Al Nassr will return home to welcome Al Ahli in the 3rd round of the Saudi Pro League 2024-25. The match will take place at Al-Awwal Stadium (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) at 1:00 a.m. on September 14.
