Coach Carlo Ancelotti shared about his experience coaching Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo. The Italian captain managed CR7 for two years in his first term at Los Blancos from 2013 to 2015.
When asked recently about coaching the five-time Ballon d’Or winner on The Obi One Podcast, Carlo Ancelotti replied (via @MadridXtra on X): “Coaching Ronaldo? It’s so easy. When you have one a player who scores in every match, it’s easy (laughs).”
Talking more about this 39-year-old striker, Carlo Ancelotti said (via @TeamCRonaldo on X): “What Cristiano Ronaldo has achieved in his career is absolutely amazing, unbelievable.”
Ronaldo arrived at Santiago Bernabéu in 2009 after 6 years at Manchester United. The Portuguese national team captain is Real Madrid’s all-time top scorer, with 451 goals and 131 assists in 438 appearances in all competitions.
During his nine years with Los Blancos, Ronaldo also won three La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey, two Supercopa de España, four UEFA Champions League titles, two UEFA Super Cups and three FIFA Club World Cups. He also won four Ballon d’Or awards (2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017) during his time at the Spanish giants.
Meanwhile, Ancelotti begins his second term at Los Blancos in 2021, his contract valid until June 30, 2026. Overall, the 65-year-old strategist has won two La Liga titles and three UEFA Champions League titles, along with many more titles with the Spanish club.
