When a striped feline crew arrived at Exploits Valley SPCA, they were full of love and hope, ready to wriggle their way into someone’s heart.

“A beautiful tabby mom came to our shelter with four tabby babies – one boy and three girls,” the SPCA shared. “Mama Squirt is the most docile, friendly, easygoing kitty, and she’s done the best job raising her kittens to be just like her. They all love attention, people, and playing.”

The kittens never lacked an ounce of love and quickly outgrew their nursery kennel, ready to explore the world beyond.

The moment they moved into their new room at the shelter, they took off, bouncing off the walls and chasing each other with unbridled energy. They zipped around their mom in a flurry of tiny paws and playful chaos, occasionally pouncing on her for added fun.

The kittens surrounded their tower of tracks toy, batting at the balls simultaneously while one of them hopped atop the tower for good measure.

Mama Squirt was delighted to have more room to stretch and relax after spending so much time in the kennel. She watched the kittens tear through the place while waiting for the right family to come find them.

Crystal opened her home and her heart to Pikachu but never stopped thinking about the rest of the tabby crew. She introduced her newly adopted kitten to her dear friends, Harry and Denise Hutchings, and their hearts flipped.
