Rambo Update:
Great news – Rambo’s bloodwork came back normal, and his FIV/FeLV test was negative! However, he has severe glaucoma in his left eye, which will need to be removed once he reaches a healthier weight. His extreme skinniness could potentially be related to an autoimmune issue, but we’ll know more as Happy Tailz Cat Rescue, Inc. works on helping him gain weight. Having spent so much time on the streets, Rambo also has severe parasites, but despite all this, the overall news is positive.
We were worried about potential kidney issues, so hearing the good bloodwork results is a huge relief. Rambo is already feeling much better – he’s had a bath and is enjoying all the attention he’s receiving! With time, he’ll transform into a “purrfect” pirate kitty.
